Eight Cow Wife

I thought that this video (though old) is a good illustration how the value put on a person greatly affects the way he/she values his/herself; it shows how to bring out the best or the worst in a person.

It is possible to change someone's life simply by changing your attitude in how you think about, talk about, and interact with him/her.

"Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa for all the times, I helped devalue any individual through immaturity, selfishness, pride, anger, and jealousy."

Ways to devalue someone:
  • Gossip & Slander
  • Mock
  • Ignore
  • Belittle & Accuse
  • Lying to
  • Infidelity
  • Betrayal
  • Abandon
  • Abort

Ways to value someone:
  • Encourage
  • Fidelity
  • Respond
  • Listen
  • Support
  • Show up
  • Be Generous
  • Respect
  • Serve

Padre Pio says:

"Suffering is necessary for our souls."

"My suffering gives glory to God, saves my brothers in exile, frees the souls
from Purgatory."

"My sufferings are pleasing."

'I suffer only when I don't suffer."

"I want to suffer, but in secret."

"I suffer because I cannot win all my brothers to God."

"I suffer everything that Jesus suffered in the Passion."

"In suffering we give something to God, wich we cannot do in Paradise."

"He who begins to love must be ready to suffer."

"Glory will be ours on condition that we endure suffering."

"Suffering is a most powerful lever to raise man up again."
